About Therese & Ed Milestone
Therese & Ed Milestone are both fourth-generation San Franciscans. Ed began his real estate career as a construction worker for a property investor while pursuing a degree in Marketing at San Francisco State University. Ed’s construction experience has given the Milestone Real Estate Team an edge in noting problems that could hold up the sale of property or limit its marketability. Ed was also the manager of a furniture company South of market for nine years and was responsible for negotiating sales packages on a daily basis while meeting deadlines. He then worked as a San Francisco Deputy Sheriff, which developed his ability to work in high-pressure situations while remaining calm, a character trait that now serves his clients in real estate very well. In addition to real estate sales, Ed is also involved in property management in Pacific Heights, which has further enhanced his customer service skills while becoming familiar with San Francisco landlord and tenant laws. Ed is currently working on his California Certified Manager accreditation and is a member of SFAR, CAR, NAR and the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce. He is a husband and father of two boys and his interests include spending time with his wife and children, exercising, and sailing on the San Francisco Bay with his family.
Therese (previously Therese Flynn) began her real estate career while working in her parent’s real estate appraisal office in grammar school and continued as she worked in the Multiple Listing Department of the San Francisco Association of Realtors. Thereafter, she was employed for seven years in the accounting department of a self-funded health insurance company in which her positions included assistant underwriter and assistant to the Controller, which finely tuned her number aptitude. Afterwards, she returned to the field of real estate focusing on property management and redevelopment. As supervisor for San Francisco condominium complexes, Therese was responsible for preparing annual budgets, which utilized her math skills, as well as assisting in acquisitions of multi-million dollar properties and land.
Therese holds a California Real Estate Broker’s license. She is a member of the SFAR, CAR, and NAR, the Professional Women's Networking Group of San Francisco, and the Salesian Mother's Club. A wife and mother of two beautiful boys, James & Logan, Therese loves to cook, read business and real estate industry books, and dance at local concerts. Therese especially enjoys sharing her knowledge of raising children in San Francisco with families relocating to the Bay Area.
